Made for the sweet Isobel on her first birthday. A painted buttercream cake topped with edible chocolate spheres and a rice paper bow create the suggestion of a well known mouse.
Music To My Ears
A birthday cake for a very special young man whose soul is soothed by music. Music is one of the most precious things we have that can delight our senses and help us recollect our memories. Music notes cover the edible chocolate sphere and cascading chocolate shards.
Inspired by a piece of pottery, this abstract design was created for a lovely client who gave us complete design control. A buttercream marbled and textured cake finished with an edible chocolate sphere marbled with dark and white chocolate and crusted with coloured sugar.
This design was created for a plumber who works with copper on a daily basis. Inspired by how copper changes colour as it ages, this was such a great design to make. Chocolate cigars form the suggestion of a radiator and pipes, Lindt truffles add to the plumbing theme which is completed with an industrialised stencil.
This stunning cake was created as part of a photo shoot and was inspired by the Burberry Tartan and natural florals. Edible tartan icing sheets at the centre surrounded by floral stencilled buttercream.
Created as part of a wedding photo shoot, this little beauty was inspired by the colour of the bridesmaids dresses and the wild flowers in the bride’s bouquet.
This wonderfully fun cake was made for a young lady’s birthday and was inspired by her dog named ‘Blue’. The blue paws created from buttercream and finished off with chocolate decorations.

Into the Jungle
To be adorned with jungle animals that the client provided, the brief was for a jungle theme for a sweet little girl celebrating her first birthday. Made from buttercream with sugar paste accents.
Fun & Funky
This was a lot of fun to create for a 60th Birthday. Inspired by painting with acrylics. Multi coloured buttercream finished with a sugar paste rose, chocolate decorations and a white chocolate drip.
Messy but oh so much fun to create. We had design control on this one and it was inspired by splatter painting.
